How to prepare your child for a school interview (without stressing them out)
Schools are looking for curiosity and communication — not robotic recital. Here's how to get your child ready, calmly.
The biggest mistake parents make is over-preparing. Schools see right through it.
Do: Read with your child every day. Talk about what they read. Encourage questions. Don't: Drill answers. Quiz them on capitals. Force eye contact.
On interview day: Sleep well, eat light, dress comfortably. If your child is nervous, breathe with them — and remember, the school is being interviewed too.
